The Company is chaired by Louwrens Du Plessis, who has over 25 years of experience in the South Africa Police Service, including time spent at specialized units and detective branches, Private Security Industry Regularity Authority Grade B and experience in Retail Business, Human Resource Management, Tac Combat, Israeli Self Defence, Weapon Fundamentals, Close Quarter Combat, Hand to Hand Combat, First Aid 1,2 & 3 and Close Protection Operative.

Louwrens also build up an unequalled name for himself within the Security Industry and Private Sector, and with his vast knowledge in understanding the criminal mind and years of hands on experience, Louwrens is the ideal foundation for PROTEXUM C I S. Louwrens is also well experienced with Security Management, Criminology, Criminal Procedure Act and other Legal Procedures and Precedents of the South African Laws.

PROTEXUM C I S  is managed by Gerdus Du Plessis who created a name for himself through his involvement in certain security projects, VIP protection at Casinos (MIB), Investigations, Surveillances, Technical and Forensic services rendered to Clients. Gerdus also qualified himself as an Instructor in Israeli Self-Defence, Tac-Combat, Advance Weapon Techniques, Weapon Fundamentals, S.W.A.T, Combat Medical and Hand-To-Hand Combat, and also successfully completed his Close Protection Operative course.
Among others, Gerdus complete courses in Criminal Clearances via AFISwitch Biometric system linked to SAPS database and Private Security Industry Regularity Authority (PSIRA) Grade A Security Management, South African Laws and Legal Procedures and Precedents, that will be in favour of the Company and all its Clients

Gerdus’s energy and loyalty have certainly gone a long way towards establishing him in the Operational field and is a perfect Member to steer PROTEXUM C I S well into the future accompanied by his family and co-directors.

The Credit Management, Civil Matters, Tracings, ITC & Screenings, Health & Safety Management and Administrative fields are covered by Hannelie Du Plessis. Hannelie has over 25 years of experience in the Banking, Credit, Administration, Management and Debt Collecting Industry, Retail including time spent in the financial, Health & Safety and Private Security Industry Regularity Authority (PSIRA) Grade B.
Hannelie also build up a name for her within the Business and Private Sector and with her competent knowledge in understanding her field and with hands on experience, is she the ideal foundation for PROTEXUM C I S as a Member. Hannelie also successfully completed courses in Tac Combat, Israeli Self Defence, Weapon Fundamentals, Close Quarter Combat, First Aid 1,2 & 3 and Hand to Hand Combat.
